Please Conserve Water!

The City of Forney has resolved the power issue and normal service has been authorized.

Windmill Farms Districts would like to inform residents to conserve water, and inform them of the appropriate watering schedule for lawns, landscaping, and other items.

The City of Forney is currently experiencing power outages at their pumps and have asked residents to please conserve water at this time.

We also would like to remind residents about the current watering schedule implemented throughout the districts. Landscape watering is limited to no more than two days per week from April 1st through October 31st.

  • Sprinkler or irrigation systems are prohibited from operating between the hours of 10 am and 8 pm year round.
  • Foundations, new landscaping, new plantings (first year) of shrubs, and trees may be watered for up to two hours on any day by a handheld hose with spray nozzle, a soaker hose, or a dedicated zone using a drip irrigation system.

Addresses Ending in an EVEN (0,2,4....) number: Water on Monday & Thursday Only

Addresses Ending in an ODD (1,3,5...) number: Water on Tuesday & Friday Only

Schools, Parks, Athletic Facilities, Places of Worship, Medians, ROW’s, & Designated Open Spaces: Water on Wednesday & Saturday Only
